Commercial Electrical Services

Electrical work in a commercial building has a second cost beyond the invoice: the hours you cannot trade. We plan around your operation, not the other way round.

The cost that is not on the invoice

For a home, an electrical fault is an inconvenience. For a business it is closed doors, spoiled stock, or a distribution line that stops moving. That changes which decisions are worth making.

It is usually why preventative work pays for itself. A loose termination found on a scheduled visit is a torque check. The same termination found after it fails is a damaged panel, an emergency call-out, and a day you could not trade.

  • Repairs scheduled at your convenience rather than mid-service
  • Refrigeration, POS, and access control kept running
  • Insurers increasingly ask for evidence of electrical maintenance
  • Documented condition supports lease and compliance obligations
  • Predictable budgeting instead of reactive spend

Emergencies do not wait for business hours

A burning smell, scorching, or a panel that is hot to the touch needs a same-day response whatever the time. Call rather than logging a ticket, and we will tell you what to do in the meantime.

How we work with commercial clients

  1. 1

    Survey before quoting

For anything beyond a call-out we walk the site, measure what matters, and quote against what is actually there rather than a template.

  2. 2

    Agree the scheduling constraint first

Retail and hospitality usually mean nights. Warehouses often mean zone by zone during operations. We settle this before pricing, because a schedule that ignores your hours gets abandoned halfway through.

  3. 3

    Permits, work, inspection

We pull permits where the job requires them and attend the inspections, so nothing is left for your facilities team to chase.

  4. 4

    Documentation that gets filed

Reports with photographs, findings ranked by urgency, and per-property invoicing where you manage more than one site.

Mass Save and commercial incentives

Massachusetts has some of the strongest commercial efficiency incentives in the country, and a large share goes unclaimed because the process is unfamiliar. Lighting and controls are the most consistently supported categories.

As a Mass Save partner we confirm eligibility for your specific project and handle the application. Incentives generally have to be approved before work starts, so installing first and applying afterwards usually forfeits them.

Questions

Straight answers

The things people ask most before booking. If yours is not here, ask it and a licensed electrician will answer.

Can you work outside our business hours?
+
Yes. For retail, office, and hospitality that is usually how we schedule it. Warehouse work is often done zone by zone during operating hours instead. We agree the approach before quoting rather than after.
Do you handle multiple properties?
+
Yes. For portfolios we survey each site, report in a consistent format so buildings can be compared, and invoice per property so costs land against the right service charge or owner.
How often should commercial electrical maintenance happen?
+
Annual suits most properties. Buildings with heavy or continuous loads, critical operations, or equipment over twenty years old are often better served semi-annually. We recommend an interval after a baseline survey.
Do you handle the Mass Save application?
+
Yes. We are a Mass Save partner, confirm what your project qualifies for before you commit, and handle the paperwork. Applications generally need approval before work begins.
Can you service emergency and exit lighting?
+
Yes, including installation, battery replacement, load testing, and the periodic testing documentation requires. We also correct deficiencies flagged during an inspection.
Do you work directly with our tenants?
+
Where you want us to, yes. Give us the contact details and we arrange access, confirm the appointment, and report the outcome back to you. It removes you from the middle of the scheduling.
What areas do you serve?
+
Greater Boston and the MetroWest towns, including Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Newton, Needham, Ashland, Holliston, Sherborn, Weston, Marlborough, Sudbury, and Wayland.
